Sport at Walsham le Willows CEVC Primary School
Sport plays an important role in motivating our children and we are committed to providing a high quality experience for all our children. We actively promote and encourage participation in physical activity. We aim to provide high quality lessons and extra-curricular activities that will inspire and encourage children to participate in sport and stay fit and healthy.
Our curriculum is designed to engage and inspire all pupils. Lessons are taught by Premier Sport and by class teachers. We are lucky to have a field that can be used all year round (weather permitting) for sporting activities and also a wildlife area which is used for our Forest School activities.
Our extra-curricular activities include lunchtimes, breakfast clubs and after school clubs. We have a breakfast club and an After School Club run by Premier Sport and an after school club run by the School Sports Partnership. We also have a lunchtime football club run by Premier Sport and our school team is chosen from this.
