Welcome to Walsham le Willows CEVC Primary School.

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a piece of EU-wide legislation which determines how personal data is processed and kept safe. This regulation applies from 25th May 2018 to organisations that processes or handles personal data, including schools. You will be aware of the Data Protection Act 1998 and this new legislation builds and strengthens on the principles of this and will be replaced by the Data Protection Bill. As a school we hold personal data relating to you and your child. This is held securely and is a legal requirement. Data plays a key part within today’s education system allowing us to monitor your child’s progress with accurate evaluation and evidence. Every September, data sheets are sent home with each child for parents to complete and sign. Changes relating to GDPR will be reflected in these forms and until then any consents you have given will still apply. Should you wish to withdraw consent please contact the school office.

Please see the newsletter page for the Parent Privacy Notice.

Happy but tired Y4 children at Kingswood!  Thank you for being a brilliant group!

Welcome to Walsham le Willows CEVC Primary School Website.  We hope you enjoy finding out more about the school.  We very much believe that the education of your child is a partnership.  We aim to provide all children with the best possible start to their education in a caring, nurturing atmosphere where all children are given the opportunity to develop as individuals.  We are a fully inclusive school and hope everyone will take advantage of the opportunities that are offered both within the classroom and in the many out of school activities on offer.

If you have any queries or need further explanation on any point, do please contact us - details are on the Contacts page.  Please contact us if you would like a paper copy of any information on the website, which will be provided free of charge.

We hope your association with the school will be a long and happy one.
