SCHOOL CLOSURE DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER OR OTHER UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
Should the school have to close due to severe weather conditions, the decision will be taken as early as possible. Parents will be informed by:
- - checking on http://schoolclosures.suffolk.gov.uk
- - listening to the local radio stations (BBC Radio Suffolk 104.6 and Heart FM 96.4, 97.1) which have updates every 10mins past and 20mins past the hour
- - checking the school website which we will endeavour to update as soon as possible
- - email/texts to parents on our email list via Parent Pay
- - contacting school - it may be possible for someone to get to school to answer the telephone, but this may not always be possible.
Please ensure we always have your most up-to-date details so that we can contact you in an emergency.
Occasionally, weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may force us to close the school earlier than normal. In these circumstances we would contact you and ask that you arrange to collect your child as soon as possible.
