Christian Partners
We are very proud to be a Church of England School. Throughout the year, we take part in activities led by the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich. These include activities in school, such as Pilgrims Progress with Year 6, activities at Bury St Edmunds Cathedral, such as Eco Day, and in our local church, such as Candlemas. These activities are important to the life of the school and are strengthened by the partnership.
In addition to the activities that the children take part in, the Diocese provide support, guidance and training for our staff.
Church of England Inspection Report
Our latest Diocese Inspection Report is available here:
We have close links with our Parish Church of St Mary's, Walsham le Willows. Vicar Cat comes in regularly for Collective Worship and we visit the church at least once a term and hold our end of term services there.
We have other visitors to lead Collective Worship which includes Tony Hood from the High Street Chapel in Hopton, and visitors from the Congregational Church.
